Boarding School Foundation

This course prepares students who wish to enter a Boarding School in the UK. Students are helped on an individual basis to gain a place at their chosen school or helped with choosing a school. Depending on the needs of the student, courses can be of 1, 2 or 3 terms. Courses consist of 25 hours classroom time per week with a further 5 hours of supervised self study per week and 1 sport session per day. All students are tested on arrival. The English for Education (EFE) curriculum focuses on the language in school subjects such as Mathematics, Science, Geography, History, Art and Physical Education. An integral part of the Foundation Course is the experience of boarding school life given to students in preparation for life in a UK boarding school. In-School projects and visiting speakers also help to give students an insight into customs and culture of the UK. Students who achieve the appropriate standard can be entered for International IGCSE’s and for English Language Examinations.
