Why You Shouldn't Work for SKOLA

Don’t join SKOLA if you expect textbooks, easy-going summers, quiet coffee breaks or hate lesson planning. We thrive on energy, creativity, and flexibility, teaching 5-17 year-olds English through dynamic projects, excursions, and carefully planned lessons. If safeguarding rigour, high standards, and constant professional growth scare you: look elsewhere. But if this sounds like your kind of challenge, welcome to SKOLA. We don't offer visas or accommodation, just a rewarding summer of unforgettable teaching moments.

SKOLA is committed to safeguarding

We commit to keeping our students and staff safe. We follow safer recruitment procedures. We will carry-out pre-appointment checks: references, an enhanced DBS, overseas police checks, a qualification check, right-to-work check.

We maintain a safe, welcoming environment. This means everyone follows our behaviour management approach. Our school rules are ready, kind and safe and apply to everyone. Everyone should report concerns about adults or students to the Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs).

Our mission is for our students to 'learn English and discover other cultures'. We therefore provide high-quality lessons to a multi-national student base. We use a project-based curriculum. This allows students to work together on real-world problems and includes classroom lessons, educational trips around London, and presenting the project in the Friday presentation.
