I am a 35 year old CELTA qualified teacher, who was born and raised in London. I have over 5 years teaching experience and have taught from beginner levels up to advanced and proficiency. I have been lucky enough to have worked with students from all over the world.
As a speaker of Dutch and Spanish I also understand the difficulties that come with learning a foreign language, and this along with my experience have given me the skills, confidence and empathy that are essential to encourage and inspire others to learn.
I also have vast experience with exam preparation including Cambridge and IELTS.

My son Tobia (12-years) started taking classes with Alistair in September. It was a great experience, useful and fun. So pleasant that Tobia chose to continue and he decided to have more lesson with him. And that's not all: he convinced his cousin too, who is now taking lessons with Alistair too.

Alistair is an absolutely wonderful teacher. He has so much energy and is so resourceful that learning becomes fun! My son is looking forward to his classes every time!

I have taken classes with Alistair for approximately 3 or 4 weeks and it always was a great pleasure. Alistair was always encouraging, explained things in a great way and really helped me. I really recommend him to all of you.

Alistair is teaching Alex, my 12 years old son.They are having great lessons.Alex is learning english meanwhile he has also fun.
Alistair is explaining very well and the lessons are never boring - said my son!
So we definetly recommend him as he is a fantastic teacher!

Alistair's lessons are really fun. He's kind and explains everything very well. My children learned how to write in graffiti and both recommend him as a teacher.
