Ascot is perfectly located for our Discover London course. With 2 half day and 1 full day excursion per week, students will get to see many different aspects of London and the South of England. These excursions are the focal point of the 15 hours of English language development each week. Students will develop their language skills in class, then put them into practice whilst visiting some of the most exciting attractions in the area. Students also have three afternoons of either Multisports or Creative Arts per week. The school has a modern sports hall, indoor swimming pool, tennis courts and football pitches, as well as a visual arts centre and theatre. Ascot is 30mins from Heathrow Airport.

24 hour emergency numbers are issued to students and their parents. A member of staff can be contacted at any time should students encounter any problem or difficulty. There is a school nurse who is on call 24 hours per day. We maintain a very close supervision of students at all times to ensure their safety and well-being. Students are given a full induction on the first morning and are expected to follow the school rules. In addition to the weekly themed half-day excursions, there are full day Saturday excursions to Oxford, Stratford and Brighton.
Students sit an Entry Test on the first morning of their stay and are then placed in the class appropriate to the level obtained. Classes focus on integrating all skills – speaking, pronunciation, listening, reading and writing – but with an emphasis on speaking. This is done through weekly themes related to the excursion programme.
Students are accommodated in one of our 2 on-site residences: the Boys’ House and the Girls’ House. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are provided. There is a reduced one way transfer rate of £25 for students who arrive on flights which land at Heathrow or Stansted on a Sunday between the hours of 10.00-18.00. This rate is also valid for students who leave on flights which take-off from Heathrow or Stansted on a Saturday between the hours of 10.00-18.00. Please note: 1/ It may be necessary for students to wait at the airport on arrival or departure while we group students together. Students are supervised at all times. 2/ We need to have received the flight details at the latest one week before arrival in order to provide these reduced rate transfers.
