1.1 IB Primary Years Programme

Two Boys Studying

Boys Studying

The IB Full curriculum follows the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP). Core subjects of English, mathematics, language, social studies, arts, science, personal, social and physical education are taught within project-based lessons known as ‘Units of Inquiry’. In addition a variety of after school clubs are offered, as well as drama and musical productions.

For students in years 4 and above, netbooks are provided and there are two annual trips to our country campus on the Suffolk coast where students focus on outdoor environmental projects and sports
activities. In nursery and reception, students develop early learning skills in nurturing and developmentally supportive classes.

It was a bit hard for Anna to get used to the new children and a foreign language but she finally enjoyed every day she spent in ICS because of the playtime, trips to the Museums and the teachers.
I hope to repeat this again.
