Pumkins for Halloween, an English festival

Our students got creative today in our English art class. Out came the mini-saws to makes these scary pumpkins, called Jack-o'lanterns. As the day before (eve) Saints day it is a day when the recently departed, include martyrs, are remembered. In England children usually dress up in ghoulish costumes and play trick or treat on their neighbours.
